  • THE FUTURE OF YEMIN ORDE IS IN YOUR HANDS HELP US REBUILD OUR VILLAGE

We are thrilled to report that the children attended class today-amazingly, just 10 days after Israel's worst fire in its history tore through the Carmel Forest.

They stepped around the ashes of the gojo (the traditional Ethiopian hut that was a favorite for many of the children) secure in the knowledge that it will be rebuilt .

The fire has taken an emotional toll on the entire Yemin Orde community.  We continue to hear touching stories, especially from graduates of the Village and from participants in the pre-military Mechina program of Yemin Orde Educational Initiatives.

These exemplary young adults raced back to the Village to help in the days following the fire.  Watch this new compelling video featuring their stories of shock and sadness as they first came upon the scene of the fire and its aftermath.

Thank you to our community of generous donors who have come forward to help Yemin Orde in its hour of need. We couldn't do it without you!  Visit our website to get the latest information on repair efforts, news, videos, and photos. Help us rebuild Yemin Orde and secure a future for our children there. There is no time to waste.
